The Englishtown Project
playing music of the Grateful Dead, Marshall Tucker and NRPS
On Labor Day weekend of 1977, the Grateful Dead headlined one of the largest and most musically successful concerts of all time at Raceway Park in Englishtown. The Englishtown Project plays homage to this historic event with all-star veterans of Dead family bands led by Michael Falzarano. The show is generally Dead centered with plenty of New Riders and Marshall Tucker songs and features the music actually played at the Englishtown 1977 show.
