The Stone Pony presents Doc Holiday & Friends, a special gathering of Sounds of Asbury Park (SOAP) creators. Doc was very active popular musician from the ’60s and ’70s before moving on to become a top Nashville producer and record label owner with Mega International. He produced the Creators Concert at The Stone Pony 10 years ago in association with the dedication of “The Creators” monument on the boardwalk near the Paramount Theater.

The Sept. 22 show features two original E Street Band members, Garry W. Tallent and Vini “Mad Dog” Lopez, along with Nicky Addeo, Leon Trent, Jobonanno and surprise creators. New school Asbury is represented by Jarod Clemons (youngest son of E Street sax player Clarence Clemons). The Eddie Testa Band will play an original set right before the creators who will perform with Doc’s Nashville Studio A Team as the backing band. Sammy Dale with open the show at 7:30.
