Aaron Carr Benefit Event To Help With Ongoing Medical Expenses

On July 4, 2020, 27-year-old Aaron Carr was surfing with friends at the Jersey Shore.  He was slammed by a wave, hit the ocean floor, broke his neck and almost drowned.  He was rescued by friends who immediately called 911.  Spinal surgery was performed that night at Jersey Shore Medical Center where Aaron remained for six weeks.  He was then moved to Kessler Institute where he had therapy for three months.  He has regained some movement in his arms, but is still classified as quadriplegic.  His ongoing struggle to pay for therapy and special equipment remain a constant worry for Aaron and his family.
