A Barback helps bartenders provide quick and efficient service to customers. Before the bar opens, a Barback stocks the bar station with liquor, straws, napkins and garnishes to prepare for service. During service hours, they clean up the bar, remove glasses and bottles, change kegs, refill ice bins and restock bar stations. After the bar closes, a Barback helps bartenders with closing the bar, cleaning, removing garbage and restocking. This position is hourly & FLSA Non-exempt.

Job Title: General Manager, Convention Hall

POSITION SUMMARY: Seeking a General Manager with a focus on customer service and entrepreneurial spirit to manage bar and restaurant operations  both inside and outside at the legendary Convention Hall located on the Asbury Park Boardwalk.

REPORTING: Reports to Director of Operations

Responsibilities:
 Establish and maintain high standards of customer service for staff, customers, and vendors.
 Oversee food and beverage and merchandise (point of sale, menu, variety, etc.)
 Hires, trains and schedules full and part-time employees, and work closely with all subcontractors and/or third-party vendors. Partnering with HR for hires.
 Control purchases and inventory by meeting with suppliers, prepare inventories as required and implement system improvements where necessary.

Job Title: Merchandise Coordinator FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports to Stone Pony General Manager and other management level members of the team, providing inventory coordination, and managing product displays. The Merchandise Coordinator must exhibit knowledge of consumer behavior and maintain a high level of efficiency and organization while maintaining a professional and cooperative environment.
Responsibilities:
 Have some knowledge of retail including the ability to create displays.
 Receive, count in, and put away all inventory when it comes in.
 Fill the front display area with current inventory.  Keep the case always show ready.
 Keep staff and Management up to date with low or out of stock inventory.  Work the Management to keep inventory full and available.
 Monthly Inventory Counts with the help of Box Office Staff.   Inventory is done at the end of every month.  May require coming in on an off day.
 Maintain and organize the Main Storage Room, creating a chart of where everything is.
 Pull merchandise for on-line orders.
 Must be onsite for Summer Stage shows set up and breakdown of outside merchandise stand and restock as needed throughout the show.
 May be required to be onsite as needed for busy inside shows.
 Responsibility will include being a key holder for the building and for the storage trailers.  Maybe called upon to open the venue as needed.
 Have flexibility to run an offsite pop-up opportunity.
Desired Qualifications:
 High School Diploma or GED
 Associates or Bachelor’s degree in retail management or similar is a plus.
 Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
 Experience with Shopify and social media marketing is a plus

Responsibilities
– Establish and maintain high standards of customer service for staff, customers, and vendors.
– Oversee all front of house staff to ensure proper training and execution.
– Work closely with Management to ensure standards of operation are met and strive to exceed them.
