A Barback helps bartenders provide quick and efficient service to customers. Before the bar opens, a Barback stocks the bar station with liquor, straws, napkins and garnishes to prepare for service. During service hours, they clean up the bar, remove glasses and bottles, change kegs, refill ice bins and restock bar stations. After the bar closes, a Barback helps bartenders with closing the bar, cleaning, removing garbage and restocking. This position is hourly & FLSA Non-exempt.

Responsibilities:

  • Stocking the bar with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins, and other items before, during and after service
  • Preparing garnishes, refilling ice wells, and changing beer kegs
  • Cleaning up spills, removing glassware and organizing the counter
  • Keeping the bar area neat and clean
  • Coordinating with managers, kitchen staff and security personnel to ensure efficient service.
  • Handling urgent situations such as broken glasses and clogged drains
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Contribute daily to the entire service team.

 

The main responsibility for this position is to clear and reset tables quickly and perfectly. Their objective is to help servers turn tables more quickly. We have a short window of time to maximize the overall seating in the restaurant during meal periods. This position is hourly & FLSA Non-exempt.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist hosts in completing half hour restroom checks.
  • Complete any other tasks as assigned by a manger or supervisor.
  • If watering newly seated guests, offering bottled water prior to pouring tap.

Secures venue premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting building, equipment and access points permitting entry. Prevents losses and damage by reposting suspicious activity, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers. This position is hourly & FLSA Non-exempt.

Responsibilities:

Performs heavy cleaning duties. Sweeps, mops, scrubs or vacuums floors. Gathers and empties trash. Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities. This position is hourly & FLSA Non-exempt.

  • Empties trash receptacles disposes trash into dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
  • Unlocks doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas.
  • Reports needs and concerns to manager.
  • Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/ or based on seasonal/ project requirements.

This position is responsible for assisting the Property Foreman in assessing and completing general repairs throughout tenant spaces and public areas property-wide, completing special projects assigned by the Property Foreman, and notifying Property management of any issues encountered throughout the course of their shift.  This position is hourly & FLSA Non-exempt.

  • Experience in one or more of the following is a must: Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical repair.

  • Immediately notify Property Foreman of any issues encountered while performing daily duties, and/or any tools or materials that are necessary to complete assigned task.

  • Maintaining restrooms in event venues during events and shows.

This position is responsible for the overall cleanliness of property green spaces, open areas, public throughways, and the exterior of all pavilions along the property line. This position is hourly & FLSA Non-exempt.

  • The removal of trash/littler/cigarette butts and all other forms of refuse from property green spaces, rock beds, flower beds, around pavilions, and in exterior throughways
  • Assistance with property wide snow removal
  • Opening property-maintained throughways and restrooms to the public at the start of one’s shift.

This position is responsible for the cleaning, sanitation, and overall reset of property venues after the conclusion of shows or events. This position is hourly & FLSA Non-exempt.

  • Locking down venues and areas that should not be freely accessible to the public once a show or event has concluded.

Line cooks are assigned the task of preparing the food in a specific area or along the line in a restaurant kitchen such as the vegetable prep area or the grill. This position is hourly & FLSA Non-exempt.

Responsibilities:

  • Helps set up the whole kitchen prior to a restaurant’s opening.
  • Sets up a station by bringing all containers of necessary food items to that point in the line.
  • Cooks a specific portion of each plated meal as assigned by head cook.
  • Assists with cutting, marinating and precooking foods.
  • Keeps pace with other cooks on the line so that all food is ready for each plate at the same time.
  • Sets in to help another line cook who is running behind.
  • Assembles dishes and provides garnishment.
  • Plate’s food in an attractive manner to maximize customer enjoyment.
  • Pitches in, along with the rest of the staff, to maintain sanitary conditions and organization in the kitchen.
  • Wraps unused items and stores in proper areas at the end of a shift.

Position Summary:  The supervisor is responsible for organizing, supervising and leading the operations of Asbury Eighteen (mini golf) and Asbury Splash Park.  The position focuses on the seasonal operations, supervising staff and assist with promotion.

Term: April through October

Reporting: Reports to Director of Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Schedules staff according to the activities scheduled and operation hours
  • Ensures the safety of customers, staff and equipment
  • Maintains the cleanliness of facilities
  • Monitor the use of equipment and activities
  • Coordinate pre and post season maintenance of equipment
  • Manages cash drawer and reconcile daily
  • Follow Accounting and Payroll procedures
  • Order and inventory all equipment
  • Oversees that all laws and regulations are followed
  • Promote operations by updating social media, website and group sales
  • Ensures customer relations and satisfaction are of the highest priority with all staff

Desired Qualifications:

Physical Demands:
