As the youngest major label country artist signed in the genre in nearly two decades, Mason Ramsey continues his fast track to stardom as he has already delivered three acclaimed EPs, earned a gold-certified single, headlined two tours in addition to supporting a Las Vegas residency, and has amassed more than 450 million global streams to date.

Ramsey’s new music illustrates how far he’s come after being discovered singing in an aisle at his local Walmart. The differences prove instantly apparent as his voice boasts the kind of confidence only gained through experience and his songwriting brims with unfiltered truth buoyed by intimate creativity. Ramsey debuted his transformed vocals in his latest offering Blue Over You, which amassed nearly 5 million streams within the first two weeks of its release (the song now has more than 16 million streams on Spotify alone). The single also pays tribute to his love of classic country inspired by Elvis, Hank Williams, Jim Croce, Roy Orbison and was highly praised as a “well-written and well-produced tune” by Anthony Fantano’s The Needle Drop.

Blue Over You is just the tip of the iceberg, offering a small glimpse into Ramsey’s debut album, I’ll See You In My Dreams. The collection of 14 songs, including drifting lovesick ballad Come Pick Me Up At The End Of The Night, further instills Ramsey’s growth and maturity (in both life and song) while giving listeners a true understanding of who he is as an artist. Having co-written every tune, Ramsey intimately portrays the feelings he’s experienced from his upbringing on, inviting fans to understand him on a deeper level. In short, I’ll See You In My Dreams is a true coming-of-age album.

Mason was praised by The New York Times for delivering “stylistically diverse country and roots music” with his debut EP Famous, which spawned a hit single of the same name and scored a No. 4 spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart. In addition to making his debut at the famed Grand Ole Opry, the Golconda, Illinois-bred phenom has also performed at several high-profile festivals including CMA Fest, Coachella, iHeart Country Festival, and Stagecoach. Most recently, he was pulled on stage by 11-time Grammy Award nominee Lana Del Rey (a self-proclaimed Mason Ramsey fan) to perform Blue Over You with the songstress before a sold-out crowd at her show in Boston’s legendary Fenway Park. He has made high-profile TV performances on Ellen, Good Morning America, and Today, as well as award show appearances on the CCMA Awards, CMA Awards, CMT Music Awards, and Grammy Awards. His high-energy run Shake, Shake (All Night Long) was recently featured on the critically acclaimed Twisters soundtrack.

The Pontiacs are no strangers to Asbury Park. Having headlined Wonder Bar multiple times and playing to a sold out Stone Pony crowd while opening for Super Trans Am, they know how to keep the Jersey Shore crowd on their feet all night long.

Sandy Mack leads a stellar rotating house band for two long sets of classic rock, jam and blues with plenty of good ol’ Grateful Dead! Live music starts early at 4:20 with special guest openers and surprise guest musicians.

To the Jersey Shore music fans, he is an ambassador of everything good about our music scene whose presence is familiar as a favorite club or neighborhood watering hole. To his fellow music makers, he’s the go-to man for all manner of sessions and sitting-in situations — a blues harp ace who can stake out harmonious common ground with acoustic old-schoolers, supercharged ax slingers, roots rockers and alt-Americana songsmiths alike. Or, as local radio linchpin Rich Robinson said, “he could sit in with anybody like he’s played with them forever.”
