EVAN HONER

Evan Honer was still a college student in Southern California when his music — a mix of acoustic folk, indie-Americana, and alternative pop, delivered by a young songwriter who’s never been afraid to blur the boundaries between genres — began earning a global audience. It happened fast. One minute, he was uploading performance videos to social media with little response. The next, he was a viral success, earning 100 million streams with his version of the Tyler Childers deep cut “Jersey Giant” and building a following with his original music, too.

On graduation day, Honer released West On I-10, a debut album that quickly led to viral success as well as months of sold-out headline shows across America and Europe. For his sophomore album Fighting For, Honer decided to keep things simple. Turning down seven-figure offers from virtually every major label & grammy award winning producers, Fighting For was recorded by close friends in small studios, churches, Air Bnb’s and living rooms and is being released by Evan’s own independent label Cloverdale Records. With 500 million streams and counting and carving a new path in the music industry as a 100 percent independent artist, this is still just the beginning of Evan’s journey.

50th Anniversary Tour

Bearing witness to the accelerating negativity of global affairs, British reggae powerhouse Steel Pulse exemplify musical vengeance to halt the disarray of humanity. The band’s 12th studio production, Mass Manipulation, reflects four decades committed to bettering mankind through music. Steel Pulse songs and lyrics continue to engage controversial topics of racial injustice and human rights on a global scale. Themes are as potent and relevant today as they were at the beginning of their career. Hailing from Birmingham, England, Steel Pulse emerged in 1975 with music that provokes thought toward global unification. Songs like “Chant a Psalm” have landed on Rolling Stone’s Top 200 Best Songs list of the 1980s, and the six-time Grammy nominated group won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album for Babylon the Bandit.

Lead singer and guitarist, David Hinds’ creativity, human persona, and visionary views are revealed through inspiring compositions that capture the effects of the African Diaspora. As reggae revolutionaries, Steel Pulse is revered by the younger generation of artists and remains a powerhouse on stages around the globe. Through the example of Mass Manipulation, Steel Pulse demonstrates the endless possibilities that come from breaking down the walls of systemic greed and nurturing the fellowship of mankind.

New York psych-pop band Crumb return with AMAMA, their most carefree and open-hearted album to date. A soundscape full of playful and patchwork experimentation — glitchy pitch-shifted vocals, cell phone recordings, nautical blips, sax mouthpiece solos, blasted drum samples, and piano strings dampened with Silly Putty — AMAMA continues to deepen the band’s hypnotic sound in a cohesive line back through 2021’s Ice Melt, 2019’s Jinx, and breakout EPs Locket and Crumb. Without a doubt, AMAMA is Crumb — singer and multi-instrumentalist Lila Ramani, keyboardist and saxophonist Bri Aronow, bassist Jesse Brotter, and drummer Jonathan Gilad — at their most animated.

Few bands enter their fifth decade of making music with all the fierce creative energy of their early years. Even fewer bands are like The Church.
Experiencing a renaissance of sorts with their worldwide critically-hailed 26th album The Hypnogogue and its companion 27th album (that also serves as a worthy standalone) Eros Zeta and the Perfumed Guitars, The Church has witnessed their continued impact to astonishingly grow exponentially in audience size and media attention through not only their new albums but a world tour that took them through North America, the UK, Europe and back home to Australia. Coupled with the 2024 vinyl re-issues of their first four albums – Of Skins & Heart, The Blurred Crusade, Séance, and Heyday – their most recent Australian tour was one of their most successful tours to date. The band also launched an exclusive fan community via a partnership with The Chorus, aptly named nightfriends. It is a first for this storied band – an online experience where fans can receive first dibs on concert and new release presales, have access to unreleased songs/demos/live cuts, never-before-seen live show video content and concert films, behind-the-music essays about the creation of pivotal albums, exclusive band Q&As and Forum interactions, and much more.
2025 is turning into a banner year for the band, getting ready to turn the page and both explore new music and celebrate their impressive catalog with a slew of live dates. Kicking off with their first-ever ‘Singles-centric’ tour this Summer in North America, they will be digging into their catalogue and playing the songs that launched them into mainstream consciousness, including “Metropolis,” “Ripple,” “C’est La Vie”, and of course, “Reptile” and “Under the Milky Way.” They also have a new album – their 28th! – planned for release later this year.
