Sea.Hear.Now Festival returns to Asbury Park this weekend for their 6th Annual takeover. Arguably one of the best weekends of the year, it is filled with live music (Noah Kahn and Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band), professional surfing, boardwalk-wide art activations, and *fingers crossed* some of the best weather the Jersey Shore has to offer. Whether you’ve never been, or you are a seasoned pro, this guide has insider tips to make the most of your weekend.

ART: The map shows art installations on the beach between the two main stages. It’s always fantastic, but did you know there is, even more, to be seen outside the festival footprint? At the south end of the boardwalk in the historic carousel building, you will find brand new murals brought to you by the Wooden Walls Project, as well as a jam-packed exterior featuring some of the best local and national artists. Even better, this exhibition begins Friday evening at 6pm with the opening reception, the perfect weekend pregame!

MUSIC: The hardest part of the weekend is probably catching all the music the festival has to offer. With three stages, there is always someone on. The Surf Stage on the beach features the biggest names, however, The Surf Stage is not to be underestimated. It features some of the best local talent.

JUST SOME TIPS:

  • There is no longer a festival app.
  • Yoga sessions are on Saturday, September 14. It is free and there is no Sea.Hear.Now Festival ticket required to participate. Make sure to sign the waiver here before attending.
  • Catch more incredible music at the late night shows at Wonder Bar. The Stone Pony after shows are sold out : (
