Hailing from New Orleans, the birthplace of funk, Galactic are true amabassdor's of the Cresent City's deep rooted musical hertage. Featured in the hit HBO show Treme, Galactic are the true defintion of gumbo, taking the best ingredients of funk, jazz, soul and rock n' roll and delivering it straight up no chaser. Joining Galactic are two of New Orleans' best of the best: percussionist and vocalist Cyril Neville of the legendary Neville Brothers and brass instrumentalist supreme, Corey Harris of the Rebirth Brass Band.
