The Center in Asbury Park Winter Wine Tasting Amusement Event

Please join us at the SILVERBALL Museum Pinball Hall of Fame where you can become a pinball wizard and help support the mission of The Center in Asbury Park. Center House, located at 806 Third Avenue is a project of The Center.

The Center is a volunteer service organization made up of people from all faiths that come together in response to the growing AIDS crisis in our society. Our mission is to be of personal service to those in the community affected by HIV disease both those actually living with the virus, as well as their family, friends, and caregivers. At The Center, the bottom line is making a difference in the lives of these individuals.

Our programs and services include:

   Housing Programs: Center House, a permanent supportive housing residence for 25 individuals living with HIV/AIDS; emergency placement for homeless individuals; rental and utility subsidies in order to prevent homelessness.

  Nutrition Progrrams: Emergency food and nutrition pantry; Meals-to-Go, frozen home-cooked meals; a daily lunch program, monthly Sunday dinners.

   Referral Service: Empowering cliennts by providing connection to other service providers and programs.

  Transportation Services: Help get peoople to clinics, doctors appointments, and other needs.

  Education:  Lecture and other forums for clients,  staff and volunteers.
